前两天，学校高年级举行了英语演讲比赛，我作为班上的代表之一，前去观摩。
这次比赛无论是主持还是演讲，都是全英文的。东看看，西看看，竟来了不少我认识的人。学校的几位老师来做评委，还有一位外教呢！
比赛开始。首先，是两位主持人一番简短的介绍，然后选手开始挨个儿上台。每个人都有一份课件，上面是演讲内容，选手要流畅地背出稿子，才能得高分。他们一口流利的英语，听得我云里雾里。我不由得感叹道，这就是差距啊！不过根据课件上的英文，我还是认出了一些单词。
选手的情况也不同：有的一口英语说得头头是道，听得人一愣一愣的；有的上了台过于紧张，忘了词，又下来整理整理思绪再上台；也有的背得不错，却出了一点小插曲的……可谓是千姿百态。
选手们讲的内容各不相同：有的流畅地讲了那些经典的故事；有的介绍了自己喜欢的动物或东西；还有的讲了自己从一句话或者一件事中感悟的道理……内容各不相同。
通过这次比赛，我深切地体会到了：人外有人，天外有天。我要更加努力地学习英语哟！

Life is a process of growing up。 Saying goodbye to childhood， we step intoanother important time of life‘the youth’ver， who can really say what the youthis ？ A period of time? A belief? An attitude to life? Or anything else? We don’tknow。

As youth is so precious， of course， we must treasure it ’t let the limitedtime pass by， leaving nothing of significance to our future。 Actually， youth hasa lot to do with our future。 It’s necessary for us to prepare ourselves well forthe future to e。 So， what should we do? Here ，I’ll point out some tips to helpequip ourselves
First of all， recognize the direction of your future。 In other word， thinkof what you’d like to be some day。 A teacher ？ A doctor ？ A writer? Don’t afraidof thinking big and great e you are young ， you can dream of doing anything andbeing anyone in the future
What’s more ， never ignore the power of knowledge。 Read more books andtravel around。 For one thing， it can increase your knowledge， for another， it’llbroaden your horizon。
Last but not the least ， stick to your dream。 It easier said than done。After all， future is not all roses。 So， we should have enough courage anddetermination to overe all the difficulties。
I firmly believe one sentence that‘If you think you can， of course youcan!’Just believe we can make it! Keep on walking towards our dream。 Flyingyouth ，master our future。 From today， from now on ，from Middle School ！Ready ？

Good afternoon! My dear teachers and friends. My name is Li Wenwen.I’m fourteen years old.In class 8,grade 1.
Different people has different dreams. Someone wants to be a doctor. Someone wants to be a basketball player，because he is good at sports. Someone wants to be a writer， because he likes writing. Someone wants to be a teacher because he likes teaching children.
What do I want to do when I’m older?
You see,I like playing the piano and I am good at it. So I want to become a piano player.(pianist). Playing the piano is very interesting. And you can learn something of music. Piano can make your life beautiful and happy. Your life is full of music. A lot of musicians and singers love playing the pianos.
I could play the piano when I was ten years old. All of my teachers and my classmates say I can play the piano very well. I have got Grand Five . I hope when I’m sixteen years old , I can get Grand Eight.
Now I’m a middle school student. There are many things at school. Sometimes ,I have no time to play the piano. But,I’ll still be harder and harder to practise.The youngest pianoist, Langlang is my idol. He is such a great pianoist.I hope I can be a pianoist like him.
I know becoming a piano is a hard job. But I believe I can do it. There is a will, there is a way. My dream will come ture one day. Believe me! Thank you!
尊敬的老师、亲爱的同学们：
大家好！我是来自五(2)班的毛安琪同学，今天我要演讲的主题是：争做“真善美”学子。 圣经上曾说：“拥有真、善、美的心灵是一生中最大的幸福，它使人生的每一天都灿烂。” 关于“真善美”三个字，每个人都有不同的看法，而我是这样理解的：
“真善美”中的“真”是指要真诚待人，做真实的自己，不吹嘘，不浮夸。记得我上三年级时的一节体育课，我在操场上捡到了一个钱包，因为当时没人发现，我没有及时把钱交给老师，放学回家后，我总是觉得心里不踏实，于是，把事情的经过告诉了我妈妈，妈妈知道了此事，她给我讲了“换位思考，拾金不昧”等道理，第二天我就主动把拾到的钱交给了老师，从那时起，我也懂得了“真善美的真正含义”!
“善”就是善良，是对他人无私的关爱和祝福，是来自心灵深处真诚的怜惜与同情！来到我们北师大校园，您随处可以见到这样的风景：“上学和放学时，我们的行政领导和值日老师不论日晒雨淋，都在维持着校园秩序；同学们见到老师主动问好；高年级的姐姐会扶起摔跤的小弟弟小妹妹；值日学生耐心劝导乱丢果皮纸屑的同学等等，这些都是“真善美”的体现！有人说：“给予比索取更幸福”，看到别人因自己的关爱得到了快乐，我觉得自己也很快乐，所以我们每天都要做着对别人有益的事！

去年暑假，妈妈单位举行英语演讲比赛，妈妈给我报了名。
我慌了起来，要知道，我的英语成绩只是平平的。虽然离比赛还有半个月时间，可我早就开始选、背稿子了。
半个月来，房间里总是传来背诵英语的声音，不管是夜晚、白天，我只要有空，就背诵起来，甚至连做梦时，我都在做关于英语比赛的梦。我放弃了看电视的时间，用来背稿子；我放弃了玩耍的时间，用来背稿子；我放弃了休息的时间，用来背稿子……
终于到了比赛的日子，那天，赛场上来了几十名参赛者，面对这么多的选手，我心里有点害怕了，很没有胜利的信心。可又一想，如果我现在退出，不就等于失败了吗？荣誉属于勇敢者！我在心里想了半天，决定参加了。
我是第一个演讲的，我流畅地把那篇稿子背了下来，简直有点不敢相信自己的嘴巴。接下来听别人的演讲，突然，我发现一个水平似乎比我高的小女孩，我顿时紧张起来，唉，她好像错了一个单词，又好像没错。其实她真的错了，只是因为我太紧张没听清楚。演讲比赛接近尾声的时候，我觉得自己的水平能得第一，别人好像没戏了。我突然离开座位，想找妈妈去报喜。走到门口时，我觉得自己不能太骄傲了，还是等成绩出来后再说，于是我又转身回到了座位上。
终于到了激动人心的时刻，裁判宣布：“本次比赛满分是十分，今天比赛的最高分是九点九八分，获得第一名的选手就是第一位演讲的葛李盈同学。”裁判的话音刚落，台下掌声雷动，我悄悄瞅了一眼观众席上的妈妈，只见妈妈站起来向我挥手祝贺，我看到她的脸已经成了红苹果，妈妈比我还激动。哇！我得了第一名！眼前的情景让我难以置信，仿佛在做梦。我狠狠掐了自己一把，哎呀！好疼！的确不是做梦！的确是我得了第一名。
我在观众的掌声中走上领奖台，手里捧着我的奖品——书包，还有获奖证书，在众人羡慕的眼光中，我激动得脸一下子红到了耳根，有点害羞，又有点想流泪。
这次比赛证明，获得成功并不难，只要比别人加倍努力，加倍用心，为了成功努力，向成功发起“攻击”，那么你就一定会收获成功！
