The sense of happiness is of great significance. As a vital factorof life, it brings us power, arouses our enthusiasm for loving life, and helps us to create apromising future. However, in contemporary China, it has become a trend for Chinese people tohold different views about happiness and the way to enhance it.
In addition to material basis, the sense of happiness also refers to several others aspects. Firstly, based on a recent survey, a majority of individuals admit that they are no longer content withbeing fed and clothed adequately, and their happiness depends more on their success in careers, friendship and love. Secondly, a great many people claim that health is the key to their sense ofhappiness. It is health that enables them to build up a solid foundation for anything significant.
As a college student, I am convinced that never can money equal happiness. To enhance oursense of happiness, we should educate, advocate and encourage our friends and classmates toenrich their knowledge, broaden their horizon and cultivate their ability.
The pursuit for certificate is a time-honored phenomenon in the colleges and universities; however, faced with the tough job market, the certificate craze has swept people from all walks of life in recent years.
People vary from one another in their purposes for acquiring certificates. Some of them hold that professional certificates are important supplement for their school work because the employer values professional competence, while the school courses lay particular stress on the imparting of knowledge. Besides, diplomas and vocational credentials can effectively enhance the competitiveness of university graduates. Professional certificates will improve the chances of employment, without a doubt. But there is no lack of people, who hold down quite a good job, taking professional certificates to enhance their self-worth.
In my opinion, people should avoid blindness in their pursuit for professional certificates because the capabilities outweigh the certificates when the enterprises recruit staff. Therefore, choosing certificates in accordance with ones career development is wise move.
About a decade ago, college students couldfind satisfactory and enviable jobs after they acquire Master's degree. But now, things are quite different. Today's university students usually have muchpressure in finding fairly good jobs. They always say disappointedly that goods jobs means high diplomas. Why nowadays university students with lower degrees have so much pressure in finding jobs? For my part, this kind of pressure is mainly caused by three reasons.Firstly, the government is enrolling more and more university students year by year. And the growth of the students' number has surpassed that of the need of the society. So, when so many students graduate at a time, the chance of finding good jobs becomes tiny. Secondly, today's university students, most of them are the "only-child"， who are more mentally frail. If their first try fails, they will be frustrated and think that it is really hard to find jobs. This situation can be changed. The university students can join in some extracurricular activities on campus to train their abilities of doing things independently and try to do some part-time jobs during weekends and vacations to gain more social experience.
