i was attracted by the scenery out of the window the first day i came to my dormitory and since then it has become my hab it to sit by the window and enjoy the wonderful scenery.every time my roommates see me absorbed in it,they shake their heads, puzzled. to them, there is nothing more than a deserted piece of grassland outside the window. but it is their misfortune to fail to find the wonder and the beauty.
the little garden, as i name it, is fenced at one end by the school wall and at the other by our five storied dormitory building. a couple of tropical trees stand straight at the corner. such is the small but lovely garden. i like sitting in my chair by the window and looking at it affectionately. it takes on new appearances in different seasons, so i never feel bored.
the garden looks very poor in winter. the grass has withered and the bare trees stand lonely in the chilly wind. but when spring comes, the trees are decorated by greenish new leaves and the grassland is dotted with small white flowers. one afternoon after many days＇rain, under the blue sky with some drifting clouds, some students are lying on the grass, enjoying the sun shine. i am glad to find someone else to appreciate this place.
but my favorite moment is at night.after a whole day＇s hard work, i throw myself into the window chair. breathing the fresh air, feeling the soft breeze, and listening to the leaves rustling, i feel refreshed. the whole world seems ready to sleep,and my little garden is dozing off. i enjoy this peaceful moment and gain release for my thoughts.
perhaps the small garden has something deeper that arouses my admiration. it is deserted but it has never abandoned itself.it is not taken care of but it takes care of itself.it suffers the sweltering heat and freezing cold but never yields to all the hardships.

In our daily lives, we have many choices to make, such as what to eat for supper,what clothes to wear, or what to do on weekends. Nowadays, the employment of college students is becoming more and more of a problem. According to statistics, about 30% of graduate students can't find a job after graduation. These college student who cannot find jobs are at their worst. Why college graduates have difficulty finding jobs? Why is it a big problem that puzzled people for years?
The reason for it is various. The main reason has the following points: Firstly, the number of the college student is increasing faster and faster these years. In addition, many colleges and universities fail to adapt their courses to the development of economy.
Secondly, It's easy for some students to find work. But the fact is that some students don't want to do the job, they except to find a work with a higher salary. In addition, some graduates did not work hard in college, so they are not competent for jobs they want.

Personally, there are specificwords that impress me a lot. It's the final exam in junior high school. Unfortunately,I failed though I had made a good preparation before it. I never knew whetherothers laughed at me at that time. What aroused me, though, were the words frommy classmates--It never rains, but it pours--from which I benefit a lot. Iguess that it's his inspiring words that set off my inner motivation to feelgood about myself again.

it was summer. l came to guilin by train. as soon as i left the station, a few minutes bus ride took me to the hill of elephant trunk. the hill of elephant trunk is very big and really like an elephant drinking water. the city of guilin is small. looking up, i saw mountains around and in front of me. all of the houses seemed to be at the foot of the mountains.

Nowadays, college students going in for business become more and more popular in campus, even many college students think that is very fashionable. As to this trend, different people have different views.
For me, every coin has two sides, thus college students going in for business has advantages as well as disadvantages, but advantages outweigh the disadvantages.As a college student, I think taking part in business when we still in college has following advantages. Firstly, doing business can develop our communication and management abilities. From purchase to sell, students must communicate with many different people, such as wholesalers and customers, so we can learn many communication skills from this process. Students also have to make some market researches to decide what we will go in for; we should find out wholesalers who can cooperate stably with us; how we set price; how we promote and so on. See, students communication and management skills can be developed from above things.
When it comes to sleep, people’s opinions vary. Some people think that we should sleep as much as possible to keep our mind conscious. Some people think that we shouldn’t sleep too much because long time sleep makes people sleepy. In my opinion, appropriate sleep can not only refresh our mind but also keep us energetic.
First of all, enough sleep makes us energetic. After a day’s working, people feel tired. Therefore, a good and enough sleep can help people recover from the exhausting status.
Secondly, sleep enough can avoid illness. It is investigated that more than 90% people who suffers from insomnia are tending to fall ill easily compared with those who have enough sleep.
Thirdly, enough sleep benefits our mind. According to researcher from American and French, the “Sharp Wave Ripple” in brain which is responsible for strengthen memory can only appear when people fall into deep sleep. If we have enough sleep, then our memory will be improved so that we can learn things more efficiently.
All in all, enough sleep makes us energetic, benefit our mind and also help us to avoid from being ill. Hence, people should get enough sleep.
I believe I can fly! Maybe you think that I am a crazy person or something. Well, actually “I believe I can fly” is the name of a song, which is my favorite English song. The reason why I like this song is the song brings me courage to make my dreams come true. Just like the song say “I believe I can fly! I believe I can touch the sky”。 You know I still dream about being a witch like Harry Potter and live in the wizardly world, to use my powers to save the day, like stopping the World Trade center from falling down, or stopping the war on Iraq…I know being a witch is impossible, but to make our world a better place is definitely possible.
Besides being a witch I also want to be an archaeologist, an Egyptologist. I want to go to Egypt, to discover the beauty of this ancient civilization. I think about it day and night, I see myself standing beside the pyramid, and working in the desert with mummies and sarcophagus. Maybe the dream is kind of far away from me. But I believe that one day my dream will indeed come true.

THE first time I saw Bao was in 20xx, the year when Thomas and Uber Cup was held. At that time he was playing against Li zongwei, who is also a good player from Malaysia. Bao beat him. To tell the truth, at first the reason why I liked him was just because I thought he was pretty.*(maybe it is not a suitable word, but I think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!) From that time, I have focused on him. Then gradually, I found that he not only has good appearance, but also has a talent for badminton.
He is very tall, about 1.90 meters. He is the tallest one among all the players in the Chinese Badminton Team. In 20xx, he is chosen as the flag holder stands for China in the opening ceremony in the 15th Asian Games held in Doha. It was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over the special task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball players. It was a great honor. And it also proved that Bao was an excellent athlete. We are all proud of him.
He began to play badminton when he was at primary school. In 20xx, he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in Guangzhou. Because of that, he entered the Chinese Badminton Team. As he is as old as Lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good to him. He seldom beats Lin dan, so he gained a name which is called’千年老二’. In fact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong. So he always has misplays. Due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. I think this is related to his character. He is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. So this affects him while he is playing badminton. In a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. He is under great pressure. He was not in the best state. But recently he cheers up again. Several days ago, the Chinese Badminton Championship 20xx was held in Guangzhou. I went to see him on Saturday. I was very excited, and I shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me. There is no doubt that he won the game. Before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited I was at that time! The next day, he beat Li zongwei again and he won the man’s single gold medal. All of us are very happy. After 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in Guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.
I think this will be the energy of his advancing. And I hope he can keep this fighting will and win the gold medal in the 29th Olympic Games held in Beijing!

Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth. As we tragically learned from last summer's floods. we cannot continue our carelessness.
Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations to come. How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother?
