例如:
She likes neither butter nor cheese.
Neither dad nor mum is at home today.
改为both…and…
Both dad and mum are at home today.
Neither of them likes football.
He doesn't go to school by bike. Neither / Nor do I.
They didn't go to the park yesterday. Neither / Nor did we.
Neither nor
不仅仅是Nether nor遵循就近原则,其他连词比如:not only…but also/ or/ either…or/ not…but都遵循就近原则。
例如:
Neither he nor they are wholly right.
Not only the students but also the teacher is enjoying the film.
